We offer parents, children and grandparents the opportunity to learn life saving skills
These workshops have been inspired by a little boy who called 999 because his dad was suffering with severe chest pain. While the boy was on the phone, his dad collapsed and stopped breathing. The poor little boy was beside himself, but found the courage to start CPR, with the help and guidance of the 999 call handler. He saved his dads life.
Have you ever wondered how your child would cope in a similar emergency at home? We think its just as important that children are taught life saving first aid skills and doing so with the family gives you all the opportunity to really discuss and make sure you all understand what to do if the worse happened.
The class covers:
When and how to get help
The Recovery Position and CPR
Use of a Defib
Choking
Stroke
Chest pain
First Aid is a serious subject, but that doesn't mean that we can't have fun while we learn! The course will be lots of fun and appropriate for all ages, and included are booklets to take home as well as fun worksheets for the children.
Currently, classes will take place in the comfort of your home at a time and day to suit you and your family - and don't forget to invite the grandparents too!
